This year on Father’s Day, TRIOMPH-patient support group of MOHAN foundation celebrated the incredible fathers who have shown utmost strength & resilience by donating their organs to save their loved ones. TRIOMPH provided a platform to share the stories under title- “Father-the first superhero of our lives (organ donation between a father and child).” Let us honors the endless love by penning your thoughts and sharing them with us. Vipin Joshi and his father Shri Murali Joshi







Vipin was regular blood donor and he was diagnosed with high BP during one of the donations. Instead of taking it seriously, he ignored the high BP as a one-time episode. Later in 2017, he was diagnosed with CKD with high BP. He was advised for AV-fistula. His father Murali Joshi came to his rescue and donated his kidney to Vipin and he had a renal transplant in 2018. The father-son duo is healthy and happy. Vipin believes that his father is his life savior and superhero.

A man's daughter is his heart


This is the story of Mythri and his father R. Mukunda from Bengaluru.
Mythri's dad is her superhero. She is always thankful to him for being her life saviour and donating his kidney. Both Mythri and her dad are doing well and are healthy.

Ishaan and Anant

Ishaan was diagnosed with kidney failure in his early childhood years. At the age of 1o years in 2021, his father Anant became the living kidney donor for his son. Today Ishaan is a competitive swimmer and an enthusiastic kid in school as well as at home. Anant believes in the gift of life and that the donor’s health is not compromised in the long run. In fact, organ donation can save lives and gives contentment.
