TRIOMPH Patient Support Group Meeting – Interaction and Experience Sharing

Following the webinar, a Patient Support Group Meeting was organized under MOHAN Foundation’s TRIOMPH initiative on September 26, 2026. The meeting provided a supportive platform for transplant recipients to interact with one another, share their experiences, discuss challenges, and learn from the journeys of fellow recipients.

The meeting was coordinated by Ms. Jaya Jairam, Project Director, MOHAN Foundation, who facilitated the interaction and encouraged the recipients to openly share their experiences and perspectives.

The discussion featured an interaction with Mr. Kishor, Dr. Honey, and other transplant recipients. They shared experiences related to their transplant journeys, recovery, lifestyle changes, physical activity, and adapting to life after transplantation.

Mr. Kishor and Dr. Honey shared insights from their personal experiences, which encouraged other recipients to participate in the conversation. The discussion touched upon the importance of gradually rebuilding confidence after transplantation, following medical advice, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and staying motivated throughout the recovery journey.

Other transplant recipients actively participated by sharing their experiences and discussing topics related to recovery, exercise, lifestyle modifications, maintaining motivation, and managing day-to-day life after transplantation. The peer-to-peer interaction allowed participants to learn from one another and connect with people who had undergone similar experiences.

Ms. Jaya Jairam facilitated the discussion and encouraged meaningful interaction among the recipients, ensuring that participants had an opportunity to express themselves and learn from each other's experiences.

The Patient Support Group meeting concluded on an encouraging note, reinforcing the importance of peer support, shared experiences, and continued interaction throughout the transplant journey. The meeting demonstrated the role of TRIOMPH in bringing transplant recipients together and providing them with a platform to connect, motivate one another, and move forward with greater confidence.
